Types of strapping kits depend on types of strapping tools:

Most common types of strapping and their applications:
- Steel Strapping. Suitable for extra heavy-duty applications. Bundle together durable steel coils, pavers, bricks, metal pipes, secure packaged glass, roofing materials, etc.
- Сord Strapping. A great substitution for steel banding when UV, moisture, and chemical resistance of strapping is needed. It is lighter, more flexible, easier to carry, cost-effective, and sustainable material. Moreover, cord strapping does not stain and has a comparable break strength to steel due to the shock absorbance capacities.
- Polyester (PET) Strapping. Sustainable for medium to heavy-duty loads. Excellent for bundling metals, lumber, pallets of bottles, tiles, bricks, etc. This plastic strapping features high holding strength and flexibility. UV-, moisture-, and rust-resistant.
- Polypropylene (PP) Strapping. Suitable for light to medium-duty applications. It is used to bundle newspapers, seal cartons, boxes, pipes, and secure other light loads. It is very flexible so that it can bundle any irregularly shaped items.
There are many peculiarities to consider when choosing straps. If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to expensive cord or polyester, check out cheaper polypropylene. It may be a good fit and it'll keep your costs down! But be attentive to the break strength of the strapping. It must be high enough to withstand all the loads (tension, cargo weight).
Strapping kits with dispensers
You can choose strapping kits with large or mini rolls and coils. The large ones are suitable for large volumes of packaging strapping, but they are heavy and not comfortable to carry along. So, we offer kits with carts for large coils or strapping box-dispensers for mini coils. This is handy when you have to move around a lot.
