The characteristics that define what strapping are:
Breaking strength - force required to break the strap.
Working range tension – proper tension necessary to be applied to the strap.
Retained tension – the ability for the strap to retain tension during shifting.
Elongation recovery - the ability for a strap to remain tight. Strapping is applied with hand tools, power strapping tools, or machines.
